East Meck students will be taking mid-term exams starting on Thursday Jan. 12 until Wednesday Jan. 18. The exams are from 7:15am-12:00pm, then lunch and dismissal time will be 12:00 pm-12:45 pm. Former East Mecklenburg principal Mark Nixon retired from Rocky River High School on January 1. He was principal at East Meck for seven years before he moved three years ago to set up and open Rocky River.
