Over spring break, members of Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) participated in the North Carolina HOSA State Leadership Conference in Greensboro. Two teams of students placed in the top three in their categories, allowing them to advance to the national level. Freshmen Radhika Kathadia and Rudra Shah placed first in Community Awareness. Seniors Bhakti Dave, Brittany Harris, and Brittany Price placed second in Medical Reading. These five students will be representing East Meck at the HOSA National Leadership Conference in Nashville, Tennessee, June 23-28.
