Eagles lose on Reverse Homecoming

The East Meck boys basketball team lost to the Ardery Kell Knights on Friday by the score on 58-52 on Reverse Homecoming night. This was the Eagles’ second straight loss, which dropped their record to 12-9 overall and 7-5 in conference.
The Eagles led by three at the end of the first quarter; however, the Knights tightened up on defense by only allowing 8 points in the second quarter and led 31-26 going into halftime. The Eagles also struggled on offense in the third quarter scoring just six points. East Meck was able to outscore the opposition 20-17 in the final quarter, but still fell short by six points. Trent Richardson scored 12 points and Juwuan Childs contributed 10 points.
East Meck will travel to play the Providence Panthers on Tuesday Feburary 7th for their final road game of the regular season.
